During college, I was a T.A. for a business law course, including essay writing, over the course of three semesters, and spent three semesters as an oceanography T.A. and tutor. I also informally tutored friends and acquaintances, primarily focusing on writing and test preparation. During graduate school, I formally tutored various ages in differing disciplines. Currently, I teach part-time at Sierra College in Rocklin. I also taught undergraduate level French courses for the U.C. Davis French Department and beginning French for the Performing Arts Academy at David Lubin Elementary School located in East Sacramento. I especially enjoy assisting students in the areas of French, social studies/social sciences, earth science, photography, writing, and special project preparation, an essential skill for college bound students. I also have experience tutoring individuals requiring special needs. All ages are welcome!
