Experience
Have taught high school reading and English for 30 years at Tokay High in Lodi and Davis High in Davis. Have taught various levels of reading and writing up through advanced critical reading and freshman writing for 24 years at Sacramento City College, including minimum competency writing classes at U. C. Davis. I am still teaching at Sac City and U.C. Davis. I have begun tutoring and have a 7th grade student working on his writing to pass the STAR test and to qualify for Honors English. I also have a high school senior with whom I'm working on critical reading skills to pass the SAT with a high score.
